Hello, dudes! I'm Gaurav, a dynamic, good-looking and really intelligent Libran born on October 15, 1976 in Bombay, the most happening place in India. I did my schooling in Jasudben M.L. Experimental School and then went to Mithibai College for 11th and 12th grades with Science as my major subject. I also learnt a little French there. Mithibai College is a cool place to be in and I strongly recommend you to visit the canteen there, when you're in the vicinity.
After a lot of hard work in the 12th and a lot of luck I got 95.67% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths and got admission in Fr. C.R. College of Engineering. I chose to take Electronics as my major. Fr.C.R.C.E. is situated at Bandstand(Bandra) onlooking the Arabian Sea. The cool breeze that blows into the classrooms makes one want to bunk the lectures and go out and enjoy oneself. My college, has been given an "A" grade which only 3 other Engineering colleges in Bombay have. I quite enjoy being in an Engineering college , it brings me closer to all the fascinating subjects. The best thing that Engineering has done to me is that it has made me very ambitious. The first career option that I remeber is becoming a traffic policeman. But instead I find myself applying to Universities in the USA to take up a masters and then a Ph.D. in Telecommunications.
To be honest, going to the USA was the last thing I had in mind when I enrolled in Fr. C.R.C.E. In fact, I wanted to do a BE as a platform for a management career. But thanks to some of my friends, I gathered courage and got the required impetus to apply to the USA. One such friend Sameer Patil cannot go unnoticed. I suggest you visit his site and find out more about him. I owe a lot to him and hope he makes it big in life.
Anyways, the main idea of my building this Webpage is to provide some information to prospective Indian applicants to Universities in the USA. After going through the links and some of the suggested pages, you will be well informed and ready to take up this path to success.
